MALPRACTICE SUIT
The lawsuit of two doctors took a different route at trial as the lawyer for the plaintiff suddenly had a heart attack and was saved by them.
Barney Olive and Stephen Rogers, doctors of Riverside Hospital were sued for malpractice and their trial was taken to court. Unfortunately, William Hamilton, their plaintiff lawyer, who was about to begin his final arguments had a sudden heart attack. However, Olive and Rogers' quick wit towards Hamilton's condition saved his life even though he was on the opposition side. The trial will have to resume next week as Hamilton is currently recovering at Riverside Hospital.
ALUMNI FESTIVAL
A spring festival is to be held by University Alumni Association in April as the date still remains unknown.
The date set up for the spring festival remains a mystery as it all depends on their baseball team; this is whether if they can make it to playoffs this year or not. There will be many interesting activities such as games and contests which will be located at the football field. Besides, food and beverages such as barbeque lunch alongside an exhibition baseball game will also be provided at the festival. At the mean time, all proceeds to go to school library as alumni are hoping to raise more money through eligible pledges. Bobby Don Willis, alumni president, stated, "This kind of activity is one of the positive things we can do to make this university a better educational institution."
